Weekly Update 11/17/2020

Last week (November 9 – November 13) began the asphalt paving process along N. 10th and Main Streets. Huston Electric was onsite pulling wire through the electrical conduit on N. 10th Street. The new sidewalk and curb along 10th St. between Main and Columbia Streets were installed by Decorative Paving.

This week (November 16 – November 20) will see the finishing touches beginning! Job cleanup will begin. Other finishing details will be installing shrubbery, ground cover, sodding, and trees. Other work will be the installation of pavement markings by Highway Safety Services throughout Phase 3 of the Streetscapes Project for Downtown Lafayette. However, Globe will not install the decorative crosswalks until the spring to allow warmer temperatures.
