Weekly Update (6/27/16 – 7/1/16)
Early this week crews will finish up tree well excavation and curb prep work on Phase 4: South side of 5th and 6th Street block. Concrete work begins mid-week with light pole base installation; pouring sidewalks, paver bands and tree grate installation rounding out a busy week of construction. Currently Phase 4: 5th through 6th south side is scheduled to finish up around July 8th.
Finishing touches to Phase 2 & 3: Along 4th-5th and South side of 5th street begins this week: Along with the beautiful planters already in place, crews will install trashcans and benches and continue with ongoing electrical installs.
Beginning July 11th construction will flip to the north side of 5th through 6th and demo will begin in that area.
