Weekly Update (8/1/16 – 8/5/16)

This week, Phase 5 is in full-swing! Crews will be doing curb installation prep on 5th North Side and soil and tree well excavation on 6th North Side. On both 5th and 6th North Side, preparations for fire lines will be underway.

Standout Storefronts

It’s no surprise that businesses along Main Street are creative, but we’d like to call special attention to a few in particular for clever use of their storefronts.

Pete’s Diner

People walking down Main Street won’t be able to miss the sign in the window of Pete’s Diner. Their painted version of the “Main Street Open for Business” sign clearly tells the public that they can still stop in any time to enjoy a satisfying meal.

Artist’s Own

If the “Open” flag doesn’t get your attention, then the clever road construction signs in the window display will. Artist’s Own has adopted the surrounding construction as a theme to let the public know that they are definitely open for business!
