Weekly Update 9/29/20
After moving to the north side of Main St., crews poured the curb and gutter last week (September 21 – 26)! This was followed by the formation and pouring of the paver restraint bands on that same north side of Main Street. New street lighting was installed by Huston Electric. Other concrete work included the pouring of paver bases and concrete ramps. Perhaps the most exciting development, Decorative Paving finished installing the brick pavers in the sidewalk between 11th and 10thStreets on Main Street! This coming week, (September 28 – October 2), Decorative Paving will finish the installation of brick pavers on Main St. between 11th and 9th Streets. An important notice: on Tuesday, September 29th, N. 10th Street will be shut down to allow crews to begin the reconstruction of N. 10th St. between Main and Columbia Streets.
