Weekly Update 9/8/20
Last week (August 31 – September 4) saw the completion of all concrete work on 11th Street, between Main and Ferry Streets, for Phase 3 of the Streetscapes Project for Downtown Lafayette. Crews also started forming and pouring the paver bases along Main St, followed by the installation of the Tuftile radial ADA plates on the corner of Main and N. 10th St. At the Wine Cellar Bistro, the concrete outdoor seating area was poured. Fire hydrant testing was conducted and passed. After celebrating the Labor Day Holiday, this week (September 8 – September 11) will see the beginning of the sidewalk removal process along the south side of Main St. followed by the framing and pouring of the new sidewalk! While the sidewalk is curing, crews will be providing safe temporary access points for residents and businesses along Main St.
